NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Mid-Tidewater is reorganizing and we need your help!
We are looking for new people and old members to step up and help us. We would like to restructure our Board of Directors and can use people to help run our organization. NAMI Mid-Tidewater is a diverse group of people who offer support, education, and advocacy for people with mental health conditions and their families. We are the local affiliate of NAMI Virginia and NAMI National organizations covering the areas of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Our current programs include Family to Family, Peer to Peer, Homefront, In Our Own Voice, Basics, Children’s Challenging Behaviors, Family Support Groups and Connection Peer Support Groups. If you are interested in mental health, we would like your assistance. We currently are a membership organization of family members, people diagnosed with a mental health condition in recovery, professionals and interested citizens.
